The 10 best Wines of Portugal, According to World Renowned Master of Wine Jancis Robinson

In the field of fortified wines, a Port Wine is part of the chosen ones of Jancis Robinson: Graham's Single Harvest Tawny Port 1972 (with signature of the family Symington, producers of Port wine from century XIX). To represent Madeira Wine, Barbeito Ribeiro Real Tinta Negra Lote 1 20 Years (produced in the Ribeiro Real vineyards, which spread along the south coast of the island, at a height of 200 meters).
 
Jancis Robinson was in Lisbon this Monday for an exclusive conference attended by more than 100 guests, especially industry professionals and opinion leaders, and where he returned to focus international attention on Portuguese wines. The great progress of the national references in the last decade and the great capacity of aging, both of the reds and the whites - quite evident in the selection of the 10 most striking wines - were some of the highlights of the speech. The British - which has a track of more than 40 years, which includes advice for the cellar of Queen Elizabeth II and author of some of the most acclaimed publications on wine, such as "The World Atlas of Wine"  

Trends and perspectives for the industry were the other themes on the table at the conference which also featured Adrian Bridge (managing director of The Fladgate Partnership group, which recently announced the "World of Wine" project Alexandre Lalas (journalist, trainer and wine critic of Rio de Janeiro, who is also an expert on the growing phenomenon of so-called "natural wines" ") And António Graça (researcher dedicated to viticulture, with deep and widely recognized work on the diversity, preservation and empowerment of grape varieties).
 
The program of the 18th edition of the "Encounter with Wines" and "Meeting with Flavors" was also unveiled at the conference, which will take place from November 10 to 13, at the Lisbon Congress Center in Junqueira, with a subscription to the Revista de Vinhos.
